Welcome To get to know each other, I'd like us all to talk about our personal hell. The first place in the bible associated with Hell was Gehenna, a garbage dump outside Jerusalem where children were once sacrificed and criminals were executed. Is there a place (or a situation) in this life that might be as bad as that? Describe your personal hell. |

Dante and Contrapasso In these cantos, Dante illustrates his concept of Contrapasso in the punishment of sinners of avarice (hoarders and spenders) and wrath (the wrathful and the sullen).
